This past weekend, a few members of the BatCat staff went down to Maryland for the 9th Annual Western Maryland
Independent Lit Festival, also known as the Indie Lit Fest. The weekend-long event featured panels, roundtables, and a bookfair, the last of which we were a part of!
It was a fantastic experience for us; there was so much cool stuff to do! We had a really good time interacting with the public and the other presses and journals that were there. Plus, we had a ton of fun with the return of the haiku pins, which we first made and played with at last year’s AWP. Here’s a few of the results:
