This year has absolutely flown by, but here we are again, ready for your submissions!
What you need to know:
– Submissions are open to everyone. We welcome work from writers and artists of all ages, from the successfully published to those submitting work for the very first time.
– All genres and forms are welcome, including (but not limited to): fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, plays, novels, short story collections, graphic novels, children’s literature, illustrated works, multimedia or hybrid works, and so on and so forth.
– Submissions can be of any length. We publish in a variety of formats including everything from full-length books to petite chapbooks to broadsides. Any work that you consider worthy of standing alone, be it a full-length poetry book or a single brilliant piece of non-fiction, will be equally considered.
Submissions will be accepted through July 31, 2011. We also accept queries all year round, but we usually find our main publications through summer submissions, so send your work in soon!
Send submissions as an attachment (.pdf, .doc, or .rtf) to batcatpress@gmail.com. Please include a short introduction or cover letter (informal is fine!).
