Renee Emerson earned her M.F.A. in poetry from Boston University, where she also received the Academy of American Poets Prize in 2009. She is the author of two chapbooks, Something Like Flight (Sargent Press, 2010) and The Whitest Sheets (Maverick Duck Press, 2010). She served as contributing editor for The Basilica Review, an online poetry magazine, and currently reviews poetry books and literary magazines for Newpages.com. Renee lives in Louisville, KY.
