June Update
June 22, 2012
Well, it’s definitely summer – not only is it sweltering, but our inbox is filling up with more submissions each day, and we couldn’t be happier! (Well, about the submissions, anyway.) Keep them coming! The reading period ends July 31, so take your time, tell your writerly friends, and be sure to check out our previous titles. A little summer reading, perhaps?
Also: Stone Highway Review just posted a review of Renee Emerson’s Where Nothing Can Grow! We’re always excited to see our titles mentioned around the literary scene – check out the review here.
Help us bring more Snowmen into the world!

As you may have noticed in our online store, Noah Falck’s Snowmen Losing Weight is sold out! If you missed your chance to pick up a copy, don’t worry — we’re working on it. Snowmen is an incredibly work-intensive book to make and so the logistics are particularly tricky to figure out, but we are considering a second printing. And we need your help!
If you are interested in purchasing a copy of Snowmen, please fill out this Google Docs form. Not only will it help us gauge interest, but we’ll also let you know if/when copies are once again available.
Today’s the day!!

Our summer reading period is OPEN. Send us what you’ve got! Send your complete manuscript as an attachment to batcatpress@gmail.com with a short cover email, and see our Submissions page for more details on what we’re looking for.
Also, don’t forget that our beautiful new 2012 titles, Snowmen Losing Weight and Far Out All My Life, are both available for purchase online or in person at Lincoln Park, if you happen to be in the area. Due to an extremely successful book release, quantities are very limited, so get them while you can!
